Talia Chenoa is a contemporary artist from South East Queens, NY. Her art journey began at the age of 12 when she fractured her wrist and after removing her cast, miraculously developed the ability to create. She studied and fell further in love with art at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. In December 2019, she exhibited her first art show entitled, “Breakthrough.” Since then, she has continued to create pieces that speak to the experiences of women of color. In August 2020, she was commissioned to serve as an assisting artist for her first mural in the neighborhood that she grew up in. This experience has sparked a passion for creating pieces for women and providing art experiences for youth in Queens.
