Bystander Intervention Training

  • South Queens Women's March 130-01 Liberty Avenue Queens, NY, 11419 United States (map)

HAPPENING IN-PERSON ON THURSDAY JUNE 16 !!!!! In response to recent attacks against our Sikh community, South Queens Women’s March is hosting this workshop, facilitated by the NYC Commission on Human Rights. The Bystander Intervention workshop is built on the idea that we all play a role in creating safe public spaces for each other when we see our neighbors facing bias, discrimination, or harassment. We are partnering with local faith-based institutions and organizations as we have a moral obligation to be there for our neighbors! DUE TO AN ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION, SEATS ARE LIMITED AND REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Visit tinyurl.com/sqwmbystander to register.
