We know that many in our community are feeling great anxiety and fear around the possibility of mass deportation in a few weeks. We want to ensure that our people have that information they need to stay safe. We are hosting an immigration know your rights workshop via Zoom on MLK Day 2025 in service to community. Our featured speakers include Vrinda Jagan, immigration attorney, Ravi Ragbir, immigrant rights activist and Mudassar Toppa, staff attorney at CUNY Clear @cuny_clear Join us to learn practical tools for what to do if ICE shows up at your door, safety planning for travel, protest participation, and more. The workshop will be facilitated by our founder and executive director Aminta Kilawan-Narine.
