Promoting Mental Health Of NYC's Asian American Native Hawaiian And Pacific Islander (AANPHI) Communities

🧠 September is Suicide Prevention Month and we want to ensure community members are equipped to live their healthiest lives, not just physically but also mentally.

On Saturday, September 30 from 10am-1pm, South Queens Women’s March will be partnering with NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to host a virtual training that will provide resources to promote mental health, including details regarding the Promoting Mental Health in AANHPI Communities (PMH-AANHPI) learning experience. South Queens is home to many AANHPI people, including Indo-Caribbeans and South Asians who often do not have access to these types of resources and conversations. The training will include a history of the AANHPI community in the U.S., signs of mental health concerns, when and how to access mental health resources, and how to address stigma.

A certificate will be provided upon completion of the training program.

Slots are limited. To register for this training, visit the link: https://southqueenswomensmarch.timetap.com
